Thanks to the work of more than a dozen volunteers, members of the Hudson Clocktower Rotary were able to set up the Memorial Day float on a pickup truck, rather than on a large farm wagon.
Volunteers met at Case Barlow Farm to retrieve the Memorial display. This year, the large haywagon we've used in the past was not available for us to use. Bob Drew suggested we simplify the float by displaying the Memorial on a pickup truck. Bill Rodgers offered his truck for the event. Bill, Bob and Stieve Nieto had already purchased plywood that would span the width of the truck to keep the Memorial in full view during the parade.

Thanks to all the volunteers who came to help get the float ready and to disassemble it after the parade. Many hands make light work. Thanks for all your help!
