Jim Knauf leading discussionHudson Clocktower Rotary member Jim Knauf led the club in an exercise to assess the values held by club members and to examine the relationship they had with the club’s mission of service. The exercise was truncated because of time limitations, but it whet the appetite of those who saw the program as a chance to identify ways to attract new members.

Attendance at our luncheon meetings has gone up considerably since we began meeting at Lager & Vine on a regular basis. Members like the variety of menu items to choose from, and the club is under no pressure to purchase a pre-determined number of lunches. As a result, just changing the venue has had a positive effect on the club’s finances.

During the lunch meeting, our newest member was also installed, Cheryl Maimona.

The Hudson Clocktower Rotary Club meets at Lager & Vine at 11:45 on Wednesdays with one exception: on the second Wednesday of the month we meet at 5:30 for a casual social event at Zeppe’s Pizza on Darrow Road. That’s an ideal time and place to bring a guest who may be interested in learning more about our club and meeting some of our members.
